HELPING HAND PUEBLO PROJECT

The Lions Club works with the Taos Pueblo Day School principal and teaching staff to select families with children who are facing financial difficulties and food insecurities. The assistance is provided in a number of ways but not limited to: monthly food credit cards, necessary warm clothing, shoes and blankets, along with basic hygiene products.  

We also get involved in assisting children who face educational challenges, most recently, by providing a Kindle E-Reader to two underprivileged but gifted Pueblo students.
